Confused (velocity confusion)

I am confused, maybe I don’t know this situation

Just because of that, my feelings have been bruised

It’s been a hard road struggling to survive today

I decided to continue on with my life anyway

What is tomorrow, but just another set of stairs to climb

So then whatever develops, we still find out on time

Sometimes it’s difficult to stay focused these days

I am being blinded by the bright sunlight rays

North-South

Everyway east ends up here

The directions weren’t quite clear

My head is spinning, I am confused !

Don’t follow me ! Don’t follow me !

I traveled this way once before

My destination is up by the shore

The lighthouse is toward the east

It is hard to reach to say the least

North-south is every space

East to west there is no time to waste

I have done that over an hour now

I’m just about ready to throw in the towel

It is possible to return home

It seems like all I do is roam

Let’s give it another try

In the morning, we’ll say good-bye

One of three directions

May keep me out of the sun’s reflections

Time moves quickly when you are asleep

Sow the things that you want to reap

Dang Nab It

Drink a glass of ginger ale

When you track a storm cell

Freemont can be confusing

Northeast of the county of Paulding

Travel across route two

Over the Erie Bay View

To stay in Port Clinton

Sometime after one

He said dang nab it

I can’t get any work done

It’s just a bad habit

From a middle aged jerk

By evening time

I cleaned up the dust and grime

I just want to rest for an hour

Just to gain composure and power

Tomorrow I plan a whole new day

Just to spend me time away

If everything goes alright

We will sleep good here tonight

Warrior of the Bridge

They say that I am the warrior here

Just because I make my point clear

I awake every morning around five

Very thankful to be alive

I am no special person you see

I drink hot coffee and sometimes tea

There’s a bridge I do defend

Without it, the road comes to an end

Neighbors use it to get back home

Some of them actually live alone

A few days a week can be tough

When I’m tired and I’ve had enough !

But I always remember one thing

And the joy that it brings

When neighbors show their gratitude

This overshadows the ones that are rude

Warrior of the bridge is what I am called

Many like that title, others appalled

I always leave a light one for you

It’s just one of the thing that I do

Virtual Roulette

Disease spreads throughout the land

Cancer isn’t considered an epidemic

Viruses are passed by hand in hand

Many people have recently become sick

Antibiotics are sold over the counter

Most people trust them, others are unsure

Dozens of people get to their own doctors

Can’t walk because their feet are sore

The hospital beds are now filled up

The nurses are becoming very corrupt

They say it all began up near Buffalo

It is headed straight for San Francisco

Children are crying both day and night

Unfortunately there is no cure in sight

As the adults begin to feel somewhat ill

Today most medications can’t be refilled

It has become a dark day under blue skies

No one can hear over the baby’s cries

Maybe tomorrow things will be better

If it rains the soaked yard will get better

Chaos on the Grid

Drains clogged up once more

I will fix it, just don’t know when

Want to buy some weed killer

There’s a hole in the wall, I need filler

Batteries need charged, I do believe

It’s five forty-five, I must leave

Someone sent me mail yesterday

I’ll get to it sometime today

What’s the news on the neighborhood ?

Did Vickie marry Charlie Wood ?

When’s the party at the Beils ?

Hey that offer sounds like a deal !

It will be bedtime here soon

What happened to the raccoon ?

Do you want to eat a light snack ?

I’ll be fine, if I manage to stay on track
